Fifteen years ago, I took my first job as a teen mentor with Girls' LEAP, a role that shaped my life in ways I could never have imagined. Back then, I was being paid to do something truly special: empowering young girls and nonbinary youth in my community by teaching them the importance of self-protection and the strength of their voices.
Fast forward to today, and I am honored to serve as the Program Director for the very organization that once gave me so much. Girls' LEAP is more than just a job to me—it's a mission to uplift and protect the next generation, ensuring they grow up confident and resilient.
But we can't do it alone. We need your help to continue this vital work. Your generous support will enable us to expand our reach, introduce new and innovative curriculum, and equip our team with the latest tools to make a lasting impact.
